Founded by Elissa Dauria Smith in 2020, Evolving Story Book Scouting prioritizes quality content in a world where the pulse is always changing. We aim to do just that: evolve!

Increasingly, book-to-screen scouting is about timing. Not only do some books get optioned very early in their life cycle, but many are finding their audience later. Elissa is the only book-to-screen consultant who not only scouts the buzzy books coming out of international book fairs and New York publishing, but also authors, readers, publicists and content creators.

There’s a lot of volume out there, but our job is to identify the best of the best, and the right thing for your needs. You need someone whose taste you can trust to tell you what to prioritize. Time to bust through the hype!
