Book-to-screen scouting

Evolving Story Scouting

Book-to-screen scouting for film and television. Taste you can trust, from the buzzy book fair title to the breakout that finds its audience later.

Scouting is about timing

Some books get optioned very early in their life cycle. Many others find their audience later. Catching both means looking in more places than anyone else.

There’s a lot of volume out there, but our job is to identify the best of the best, and the right thing for your needs. You need someone whose taste you can trust to tell you what to prioritize. Time to bust through the hype!

Where we look

Not just the book fairs

Elissa is the only book-to-screen consultant who scouts not only the buzzy books coming out of international book fairs and New York publishing, but also authors, readers, publicists and content creators.
